I just took Green Associate exam,and
failed BY ONE POINT.I can understand the feeling and frustration. I was studying from the material I have purchased from
GreenSteps, I have found it very comprehensive, but my concern is that some information is from 2006.
GA Handbook is helpull.

I take the Green Associate exam on SUNDAY!!!! I, unfortunately failed my first attempt about 2 months ago BY ONE POINT, and it was the most disappointing thing. DO NOT make my mistakes. I studied from the USGBC guides exclusively my first time and found some subjects in the exam to not even be mentioned in those guides. I bought your GA walkthrough, Pat, after I failed and decided to restudy more/different materials to cover my bases, and now I feel much more confident that I will come out victorious the second time! ALSO, use the GA Handbook to your advantage if studying, the primary and ancillary references are free, at your disposal and full of relevant info, and basically how the outline of the exam is formulated so USE THEM! Learn from my mistakes and don’t fail by one point, please, I don’t wish that feeling on anyone!

I have some questions about the Green Associate (GA)exam. I found the handbook for GA and the refereces shown there are all from USGBC. I am aware of the different reference guides (2009)there is one pecifically for Canada but there is no clear information about how to prepare the Canada GA exam but there is one for US (http://www.gbci.org/main-nav/professional-credentials/exam-guide/preparation/leed-green-associate.aspx). I am confused. Is the content in the Canada GA exam different from the US GA exam? What materials should I be reading for preparing for the exam?
